1. I love your laugh. You’ve had the best belly laugh since the start and it’s infectious!

2. I love your baby blue eyes. They are mesmerizing.

3. I love how you are pursuing writing, authoring and illustrating.

4. I love how you are a genuinely loyal friend.

5. I love how you ask for hugs multiple times a day. I still love that we have the odd sleepover.

6. I love our conversations whether it’s about the big things or little things.

7. Following up on that, I love how you ask inquisitive questions and your curious nature.

8. I love how you care for others. Sometimes you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders in a way you aren’t meant to and it will be process to learn to let that go. However; you have a heart of gold and my prayer is that you will love yourself the way you love those around you.

9. I love how intentional and loving you are with our dog, Maple. Am I jealous that she is the only one on the receiving end of your kisses? Absolutely! But do I adore you relationship with your puppy and that she sleeps with you at night? Also, absolutely!

10. I love that you’re my firstborn. My journey to you wasn’t a direct line, but you were worth the wait and I always say, “you and I have gotten to spend the most time together.'“ I love that about our relationship. And I love you always, Mom.
