The Story Of Her Name
When my husband and I were dating, the topic of kids naturally came up. To my delight, Justin told me he wanted 3 kids [I wanted at least two, four max]. He also told me that if we had a girl, he would love it if we called her Noelle. My initial thought was the name was very pretty, all the Noelles I knew were kind so there were no negative associations BUT... was it too “Christmasey?” 🎄
Fast forward in time and we have two winter babies- both boys. We thought we’d have a third shot at a winter baby, but God had other plans and so it turned out our rainbow baby would be a summer one. Initially I shelved the name for that reason. Also, I was 100% convinced we were having another boy and dreaming of all things baby boy.
Throughout my pregnancy I was wracking my brain to come up with the perfect masculine moniker... Justin would offer his input, but would always say, “We won’t be using that name as we’re having a girl and her name is Noelle.”
The morning of August 11 arrives and to my surprise I hear the words “It’s a girl.” 💕🎀 And it clicked. It wasn’t Christmas, but here was our girl, the perfect gift from above who tied the bow on our family. ✨💫🌟 #missnoellerose
