Dylan is 6!

Dylan Archer is SIX! He actually turned six at the start of the month, but we were planning on having his birthday party this past weekend as our family room is now operational. Obviously due to our current pandemic and social-distancing, it would have been inappropriate to invite his friends over. My heart aches a little for him, but he as taken this with remarkable maturity and poise. We have assured him we will have his police-themed birthday when possible. In some ways, if we can do a 6½ birthday and take advantage of warmer weather, I am not opposed to that idea. Of course, I wish none of us were dealing with the coronavirus, but I’m trying hard to make lemonade out of these dang lemons for my kids’ sake.
