Our Kyler-Bot is 5! 🤖

We may have started off this new year in a new lockdown, but in the midst of home online learning and troubling news stories, our son Kyler had his golden birthday. We celebrated his birthday around Google Meet classes as a family with lots of treats, a balloon, burgers and presents. His teachers and classmates sang “Happy Birthday” over videochat. It was simple and joy-filled. Kyler melted our hearts by exclaiming that is was the “best birthday ever!!!”

The day after Kyler’s fourth birthday party, he announced he wanted a “robot cake” for his fifth. Numerous times over the year he would inquire about when it was his turn to have his robot cake. Not only did we have a traditional birthday cake, but we also did a donut cake courtesy of Lady Glaze Donuts! Kyler will hopefully have belated parties with friends and family, nevertheless; I believe he’ll always remember that day he got two robot cakes!
