Snapshot of Summer ‘22

This summer was one for the books. We travelled to Québec, trekked to the cottage, had adventures at home and celebrated birthdays. I babysat my friend’s three children weekly which turned into a perfect play date scenario for everyone and we thoroughly enjoyed the slow-paced living that comes with the season. It was also a season of change with Justin a new job- similar position, but local which is a game-changer for our family. Lastly, there was also heartache with the passing of a lovely hometown friend, Heidi. She was a young wife and mother of four, succumbing to an illness that she battled, braved and lived with so courageously. Heidi was so fittingly described as “… beautiful in all ways. Always.”

With school starting tomorrow for the boys and later in the week Noelle, here is a snapshot of our summer.
